Open to ages 13+ with the winner getting the honour of being the 2027 Cosplay Ambassador and Judge! While entries are allowed in-person, we recommend signing-up early to guarantee your spot. Tabletop Gaming & Model painting competition!
SunCon will be hosting a Warhammer Blood Bowl! Prizes for winner and runner up will be announced soon. Limited spots available. You MUST sign-up in advance. Warhammer Blood Bowl information - Sunshine Coast Blood Bowl
Suncon 7s – One day Tournament.
This will be a one-day resurrection 7s tournament, i.e. any injuries, deaths occurring during the tournament are resurrected for the next game. There are no SPP gains for any teams for this tournament.
When: Saturday 6th June 9:30am-3:30pm
Where: Suncon: Sunshine Coast Function Center, 19 West Terrace Caloundra
Cost: Free-you’ve already paid for the ticket into Suncon, additional entries $5

Team Creation
Teams will be created using 7s rules in tourplay .
Minimum of 7 players. Maximum 11 players
Max of 4 positionals.
Rerolls cost double.
No Secondary skills, No stacking.
Swarming will be available to Snotlings, but Riotious rookies won’t be.
Tier 1-600k may take 2 primary skills (one may be elite)
Amazon, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High elf, Lizardman, OWA, Orc, Skaven, Shambling Undead, Norse, Underworld denizens, Wood elf,
Tier 2- 630K may take 3 primary skills (may take 2 elite skills)

Sportsmanship
Obviously while being competitive, the essence of playing the games is for both sides to have fun.
Match Scores
Pairings will be using the Swiss system (or at least a version of it), with the first round being totally arbitrary.
Match points breakdown is
Win 60points
Draw 25 Points
Loss 0 points
With following 5 bonus points for each below condition:
Winning by 2 touchdowns
Scoring 3 touchdowns
Not allowing a touchdown to be scored against you.
Opponents having at least 3 casualties at the end of the game from ANY cause.
Only the match scores are taken into account to determine pairings.
Winner will be determined by Total match points, with ties being broken by Burholz, then TD difference, then Casualties caused.
Byes: We will endeavor to have a TO team to run against any players for a bye, which will accumulate points but cannot win the tournament.
You will need your phone and the tourplay app with your account on it.

SunCon will also be hosting a model-painting competition! Open to all formats of miniature gaming, ranging from Warhammer to Star Wars Legion. Please bring your completed army ready for evaluation. Competition will be judged by experts in the model-painting field, as well as comic book/videogame artists, Wayne and Adam Nichols. Limited spots available. You MUST sign-up in advance, 1 free entry per paying ticket but you can sign up for as many entries as you like, each additional entry is $5. Charity Raffle
We have raffles drawn at 3pm on the day with some amazing prizes donated by Gentle Giant PTY LTD and some of our amazing vendors. Proceeds of these raffles are helping local charity organisations such as The iNcrowd and Life Care Maroochydore.
Trivia
Trivia Heads!!! We have 2 trivia competitions to enter, a Star Wars themed trivia with a great Star Wars Collectable prize and the other is for those who dabble in all fandoms covering various movies and TV shows... entry is free.
Padawan Playground!
For our tiny tot fans, we have a designated area for you too! We have a colouring and a drawing competition drawn at 3pm on the main stage! (adult supervision is required at all times!)
